Beautiful round vintage 12K gold filled locket featuring a monogrammed "F" on the center that is surrounded by a cascade of etched leaves made by the A&Z Company. The "F" is inside a diamond shape. The area around the diamond shape has pinstripes on the diagonal. The inner edge has a scalloped design all round it. The edges of this locket are beveled. The back is plain. There are 2 compartments for photos inside this locket with one of the frames on the right side still intact. That side of the locket has an old black and white photo of a man that is circa 1920s. The locket closes securely with a snap.
NOTE: The A&Z Company was in business from 1905 to 1975. The company was founded by Carl Anshen and Saul Zeitlin in Providence, Rhode Island.
The vintage locket hangs from a dainty vintage gold filled chain. The clasp on the 18" long chain opens and closes securely.
The locket is circa 1920- 1930s.

Gold filled locket necklace is in very nice vintage condition with slight wear commensurate with antique age.
Markings:
Inside the locket in the center it has A & Z 1-20 12K GF which means it is 12 Karat gold filled. The locket opens and closes securely. Chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.

We do offer gift wrapping for a special occasion or for holidays. Just let us know what occasion your gift is for and if you have a special message you would like us to include.
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
