My parents were antique jewelry dealers so I grew up helping out at shows, going to auctions, estate sales, etc., to find beautiful pieces from yesteryear. I have an Applied Jewelry Professional Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) for completed coursework in Colored Stone, Diamond, and Jewelry Essentials.

My daughter has also grown to love finding treasures that still inspire and provide joy. We love vintage and antique jewelry as well as home décor and barware, and have an Etsy shop for these items at MyVintageAntiqueShop.etsy.com

We strive to accurately describe the items in our shop. Stones are tested with a Presidium Gem Tester and precious metals with a GemOro AuRACLE Plus, and/or are acid tested. We do note that these instruments may have limitations. While we are not gemologists, we do our best to provide information about our antique and vintage jewelry items.
