Description:
Antique *Vermeil (18K yellow gold over sterling silver) Etruscan bracelet that features round green enamel rounds/beads connected with pairs of oval shaped links.
Each of the 10 enamel rounds has the distinctive Etruscan design element of three small beaded shapes with a tiny ray-like border surrounded by emerald green enamel. The green enamel section is encircled with a rope border. Around this green section of each round, are 11 more of the same tiny beaded shapes with an outer rope edge that forms the outside border of each of the rounds. The rounds are convex in shape giving them wonderful dimension. The beads on this antique enamel bracelet are very intricate and delicate, and the enamel is in nice antique condition.
The rounds with enamel are connected in two places on each side to the gold oval shaped links. The bracelet closes with a spring ring clasp. The clasp is secure.
This bracelet is Etruscan, as noted by the applied beading, granulation of the surface, and the rope motif used. Etruscan revival jewelry was inspired by archeological digs in Italy in the second half of the 19th century. This type of jewelry was especially popular in the 1860s‑1870s. The bracelet is hallmarked with a pictorial hallmark and 925 near the end spring ring clasp that can seen with magnification. It is most likely French based on the type of hallmark.
*NOTE: Vermeil is a layer of gold over sterling silver.

In nice antique condition with a secure closure. The enamel is in nice antique condition with little loss of color. Some light patina and wear on the gold vermeil as would be expected an antique item from the late 1800s or early 1900s.
Markings:
Pictorial hallmark and 925 stamp on a loop near the clasp (visible under magnification).

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
