Lovely vintage gold filled bracelet with a beautiful swirling leave design in the center and greek key (meander) geometric border. The design goes all the way around this antique bracelet.
This bracelet has a box tabbed insert closure and a safety chain.
The Greek key pattern (also known as the Meander) was a defining geometric motif of the Art Deco era (roughly 1910–1940). Designers loved the motif for its rigid right angles, continuous parallel lines, and lack of organic curves, which mirrored the clean precision of the machine age. Following major archaeological discoveries—most notably King Tutankhamen’s tomb in 1922 and the 1925 Exposition des Arts Décoratifs in Paris—designers blended classical symmetry with modern, streamlined aesthetics
This bracelet is circa the Art Deco era (circa 1920s).
Measures:
Approx. 2 3/8'' wide (at widest part of oval) by 2'' wide (shorter part of oval shape). 1/2'' in width. Fits a young lady or very small/petite adult sized wrist. Approx. 6'' inner circumference. Wrist in the photos is 6 1/4'' around and the bracelet could barely close. Too tight for long wear. Would not fit a larger wrist.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Can I purchase an item for a prop for photos, and then get a return/refund for it?
We offer customers vintage items from the past to be worn and enjoyed themselves. We cannot accept a new order when a prior item(s) has been used as a prop(s) and then returned for a refund. It will be cancelled and refunded.
