Description:
Beautiful antique round gold filled locket on a long double strand chain. The locket features a raised design on the front in Art Nouveau style and is circa early 1900s in age. It hangs on a long vintage specialty link chain that is doubled and has a dog chain clip at the end. The chain and locket can be worn in a variety of ways as shown in the photos. The chain is jeweler’s brass, while the locket is gold filled.
The chain has elongated flattened links and had a dog chain clip at the end. It is 22" long when worn doubled - as shown in the photos.
The back of this vintage locket is plain with no design. Inside one of the photo wells is the maker’s mark that consists of the letters SB CO in between dollar signs.
The hinge is on the bottom and this locket opens from the top. The locket closes securely. The bale is a plain round loop.
There are two photo wells inside. Both wells have their plastic covers and frames intact.
The chain, a vintage specialty link jeweler's brass chain, has a dog chain clasp at the end. The locket can be purchased with or without the chain. (This option is available at checkout.)

Condition:
This gold filled locket is in nice antique condition with wear commensurate with age. More wear on the back as it is plain with not design. Locket is circa early 1900s. The chain is in nice antique condition as well. See photos for detail.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Can I purchase an item for a prop for photos, and then get a return/refund for it?
We offer customers vintage items from the past to be worn and enjoyed themselves. We cannot accept a new order when a prior item(s) has been used as a prop(s) and then returned for a refund. It will be cancelled and refunded.
