Description:
A wonderful and ornate vintage Sterling Silver hexagon shaped locket necklace on a new Sterling Silver curb chain. The locket has an elaborately decorated and etched front with pinstripes and an oval cartouche with the monogram CMM engraved inside it. There are decorative swirls on the beveled edges.
The locket is circa early to mid 1900s and is styled in the Art Deco fashion. The back of the locket is plain with no design. The locket opens like a purse using the two rounds at the bottom.
NOTE: The locket is marked C & QR in one well frame which is the hallmark for Carter, Qvarnstrom & Remington, a jewelry company in business in Attleboro, Massachusetts from 1899-1930. At that time, Attleboro was referred to as "The Jewelry Capital of the World".
The interior of the locket has two frames so it can hold two photos (one on each side). Both frames and covers are intact.
The vintage locket hangs from a new Sterling Silver curb chain that secures with a spring clasp. The chain is 19" long.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Can I purchase an item for a prop for photos, and then get a return/refund for it?
We offer customers vintage items from the past to be worn and enjoyed themselves. We cannot accept a new order when a prior item(s) has been used as a prop(s) and then returned for a refund. It will be cancelled and refunded.
