A classic antique oval shaped convertible brooch/pin with a seed pearl and a lovely applied design on the front. There is a seed pearl bezel set in the center of this raised piece. The vertical pieces of this raised piece have a fine etched design on them. Behind the raised design is an etched swirled design all over the background of the oval. The piece has both a pin closure and a bale on the back to it can be worn as a brooch or as a necklace. The oval piece is circa early 1900s. (The closure is a C type of closure that was used prior to the 1930s.)
This antique converter brooch / necklace hangs from a new 14K gold filled rope chain that is 20'' in length. The pin/pendant can be purchased with or without the chain.

Condition:
This classic oval pendant necklace that can also be worn as a brooch pin is in fair to nice antique condition with wear and patina commensurate with age. There is a small ding and scratching where the gold fill has worn to the base metal on the front right. See photos for detail. The new chain is in nice condition, clasp works well.
Markings:
Chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Can I purchase an item for a prop for photos, and then get a return/refund for it?
We offer customers vintage items from the past to be worn and enjoyed themselves. We cannot accept a new order when a prior item(s) has been used as a prop(s) and then returned for a refund. It will be cancelled and refunded.
