Description:
Beautiful and classic vintage 14K gold heart locket on a 10K gold chain. This small heart pendant features a leafy flower that grow ups along the side of the front of this sweet locket. The back has an ornate raised leafy swirled design.
The petite locket has its hinge on the left side and has a fold-over closure on the right side.
The locket is marked with two small "m" letters inside a six-sided lozenge on the bale.
The locket has a fanned bale at the top where the 18" 10K gold chain is attached. The spring ring clasp on the fine link cable chain opens and closes securely.
The interior of the locket has two photo compartments with what appears to be the original dark cloth backings and plastic covers still intact.
Beautiful piece of romantic antique/vintage jewelry, circa early mid century or earlier.
NOTE:
In 1949, Germany formally split into two independent nations, East and West Germany. This vintage locket is marked GERMANY which puts the timeframe for this retro locket prior to 1949.

Chain is marked 10K on the tag next to the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Can I purchase an item for a prop for photos, and then get a return/refund for it?
We offer customers vintage items from the past to be worn and enjoyed themselves. We cannot accept a new order when a prior item(s) has been used as a prop(s) and then returned for a refund. It will be cancelled and refunded.
