An adorable heart shaped gold filled locket featuring an etched floral design on the front. This sweetheart style locket was popular circa the 1930s and beyond.
Although this locket has no hallmark, it is the same design, size and weight as others we have seen that were hallmarked for the Cheever & Tweedy Company. In the past we have seen this hallmark on the sticker on the inside of the locket.
NOTE: Mark of "CT" is usually on the inside of locket for the Cheever, Tweedy & Company of North Attleboro, Massachusetts. (Successors to J.G. Cheever & Company. One of their 1977 advertising pieces states "Distributor for almost 100 years".) J.G. Cheever was in business circa 1880 and succeeded by Cheever, Tweedy & Company circa 1915.
The interior of the locket has spaces for two photos. No frames remain. Locket closes securely.
The locket hangs from a new, 20'' 14K gold filled rope chain. The spring ring clasp on the gold filled chain closes securely. Locket can be purchased with or without the chain.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Can I purchase an item for a prop for photos, and then get a return/refund for it?
We offer customers vintage items from the past to be worn and enjoyed themselves. We cannot accept a new order when a prior item(s) has been used as a prop(s) and then returned for a refund. It will be cancelled and refunded.
