A vintage circa 1930s sweetheart gold plated expansion bracelet with a heart shaped locket on the inner band. The locket in the very center of this "S" link expansion bracelet features a monogram with the initials "GEP" in an old cursive font. This locket is for a smaller wrist.
The heart shaped locket has two photo wells when opened. Both have the original frames and paper backings intact.
Expansion bracelets like this once were given to a sweetheart in the early 1900s to mid century.
NOTE: The expansion bracelet was invented circa the 1890s (expanding bracelet) and then updated in the 1930s. The particular model was named the American Queen.
The American Queen line of 1930s era expansion locket bracelets were made by the Pittman Keeler Company.

Smaller sized bracelet - The bracelet expands to fit up to an approximate 6-6 1/2'' wrist. When not expanded, it measures 2" x 1 1/2".

The bracelet is in fair vintage condition with wear commensurate with age - this retro jewelry piece is almost 100 years old. (Circa 1930s timeframe.) There is wear to the gold plate where the base metal is exposed, especially on the high edges of the links on the band. Some patina and tarnishing. When not worn, the band rests in an oval shape - see photos for details. Price reflects conditions.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
Can I purchase an item for a prop for photos, and then get a return/refund for it?
We offer customers vintage items from the past to be worn and enjoyed themselves. We cannot accept a new order when a prior item(s) has been used as a prop(s) and then returned for a refund. It will be cancelled and refunded.
