Description:
Lovely antique gold filled round photo locket on a 14K gold filled chain. The front features a semi-circular raised design containing swirling patterns and a geometric "Greek key" design. Below this are vertical lines ending in small circular beads, creating a fringed or chandelier effect.
The back has a satin finish and has no other flourishes or design. Inside are both frames, paper backings and plastic covers. It closes securely with a snap.
The locket was made by the Horton, Angell & Company, one of the oldest Attleboro, MA jewelry producers founded in 1870.
The two photo frames and paper backings as well as one plastic cover are still intact. This round early 1900s era locket hangs from an 18" long 14K gold filled rope chain.
The locket has its hinge on the bottom, opens easily from the top and closes securely. The bale is a plain round loop. The spring ring clasp on the 14K gold filled chain also closes securely. The locket is circa 1920s.

Condition:
In nice antique condition with wear on both sides as would be expected an antique item that is circa 1920s. More wear on the back as it is plain with no design - see photos for detail. The chain is in good condition as it is new.
Markings:
Locket is marked HA&Co on both inner well frames.
The gold filled chain is stamped 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
