Description:
A wonderfully shiny and gold vintage 14K yellow gold filled locket necklace with a brushed finish front and an etched flower in the center made by the Walter E. Hayward Company - see NOTE below. The back is plain with a shiny finish. The back of the tiny locket is plain with no design.
NOTE: The Walter E. Hayward Company operated out of Attleboro, MA from approximately 1922 to the mid century. The company later merged (circa 1970) with the A&Z Chain company to become A&Z Hayward Company and operated out of Providence, RI.
This locket appears to never have been worn - we had to break the seal on the back to display and to measure the chain. It comes in the jeweler's display box (The Jewel Room) that is a tan velvet and has the jeweler's name on the inside top. The locket is circa 1970s.
Perfect for a young girl or someone looking for a dainty little locket necklace. The attached chain is 16'' long. Great for layering!
The interior of the locket has two very small wells that are oval and can hold two photos (one on each side).

Our packaging is done with care and creativity. Every item from our shop is wrapped with great care and looks beautiful in our signature boxes and wrapping.
We do offer gift wrapping for a special occasion or for holidays. Just let us know what occasion your gift is for and if you have a special message you would like us to include.
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
