Description:
Beautiful vintage 12K gold filled locket that hangs on an 18K gold filled rope chain. This locket features etched flowers, leaves on the front with the center design of inverted V shapes. The flowers are a very subtle rose gold color. The fanned bale is decorative and has some nice embellishments that complement the locket front. The back of the locket has a pinstripe design.
The locket is on the larger side, and is hallmarked WH in one of the wells. This stands for the W&H Jewelry Company of Providence, RI that operated into the 1960s. The chain was made by the Hardie Jewelry Company of Holland, Michigan that operated there circa 1934.
There are 2 heart shaped compartments for photos inside this beautiful gold filled locket that are currently empty. The original farmes and plastic covers are intact.
The vintage locket hangs from a vintage 18K yellow gold filled chain that is 26'' in length, hallmarked and stamped HJ.

Condition:
Gold filled locket necklace is in nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age - circa mid century or earlier. Light use marks here or there. The edges on the back are a darker color than the pinstriped section. See photos for detail. The vintage chain is in nice condition, the spring ring clasp works well.
Markings:
The hallmark is in one of the center wells that says WH 1/20 12K.
The chain is marked HJ 18 GF on the tag near the clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
