Description: A dainty 12K gold filled floating opal pendant necklace. The floating opal pendant is circa 1940s. The pendant, which is a smaller size as it was repurposed from a pair of earrings, contains a dangling drop glass orb filled with liquid and colorful opal chips. The top of the pendant features a tulip shaped cap.
The vintage floating opal pendant hangs on a new 14K gold filled rope chain that is 20'' in length and secures with a spring ring clasp.

In fair to nice vintage condition. Some wear around the edges of the cap - see photos for details. Chain is new and in good condition.
Marked:
Chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.
NOTE:
This pendant was repurposed from a set of screwback earrings. The earrings were hallmarked 1/20 12K GF on the backs - see the last photo for a before photo showing the hallmark.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.

I had an antique necklace like this passed through my family that broke and I’ve been searching for years for a close replacement. This was the first I’ve found in all those years that is not just close to the one I had before, it’s almost an exact match, so I was so excited to purchase this.
