Description:
A petite 12K yellow gold heart shaped locket necklace with an etched design on the front that hangs on a new 14K gold filled rope chain. The vintage locket has wonderful details. The locket front features two etched and very subtly colored pink flowers - one on each side - with etched leaves above and below. There is a plain triangle shape between the florals.
The back of the locket is plain with no design.
NOTE: The hallmark on this locket stands for the Louis Stern Company of Providence, RI. The company was in business from 1871 until approximately 1950.
The interior of the locket holds 2 small heart shaped photos and it is currently empty. This locket opens and closes securely.
The vintage heart locket hangs from a new 14K yellow gold filled rope chain that is 18" long.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with wear/marks commensurate with antique age (circa mid century, 1940s). Some light discoloration or use marks here or there. See photos for detail. Chain is new in and in great condition, the clasp works well.
Marked:
The inner well is marked LS CO 1/20 12K GF.
The chain is marked 1/20 14K on the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
