Description:
A very unique open work vintage 12K yellow gold filled heart locket on a new 14K yellow gold filled chain. The little locket was made by the Budlong Docherty and Armstrong Company that operated out of Providence, RI circa 1950.
This locket features an ornate and dainty filigree front with a small diamond shape in the very center. On the back, the locket is plain with no design.
Inside there is room for photos. Currently, both sides of the ornate locket are empty. The locket closes securely.
The locket has a fanned bale with vertical lines on it. The pendant hangs from a new 20” long yellow gold filled rope chain. Locket is circa 1990s.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition. Some light use marks here and there commensurate with vintage (mid century) age. Light wear on the back as it is plain with no design especially at the top and bottom sections - see photos for detail. Chain is in nice condition as it is new.
Marked:
Locket is marked BDA on the inner frame and 1/20 12K GF.
Chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
