Description:
A vintage vermeil (gold fill over sterling silver) heart shaped locket that is etched on the front and hangs on a new 14K gold filled chain. The mid century era locket has an etched design on the front of a heart in the center with flower and leaves surrounding it. The back is plain with a shiny finish.
There are two places for photos inside this heart shaped locket. One of the original frames remain.
The locket hangs from a new 20” rope chain that is 14K gold filled and has a spring ring clasp. The locket can be purchased with or without the chain.

Condition:
The locket is fair to nice vintage condition with some patina and light wear (such as on the inside) commensurate with vintage age (1940s). More wear to the gold fill is inside this Retro Era pendant - see photos and videos for detail. The back has some scratching, wear. Price reflects condition. The chain is new and in great condition.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
