Amazingly detailed antique fob necklace. This necklace is gorgeous - times two! One side of the 10K gold filled locket has a rounded carnelian stone. The other side has a black rectangle with three carved interlocking rings (white under the black top). There is a bail attached to the one side of the fob as well as in the top center.
This locket fob opens up to have room for two rectangle shaped photos. The original frames, paper backings and glass photo covers are intact.
We have attached this gorgeous locket to a new approx. 22'' long 14K gold filled curb chain. The locket can be purchased with or without the curb chain.
What is a fob???
A fob necklace is a modern necklace style based on the chains that once held pocket watches, often featuring a distinctive T-bar clasp and a decorative pendant or "fob" at the end. Very popular during the 1800s and early 1900s. Think about those worn during gentlemen on the TV show the gilded age!

Condition:
In nice antique condition with wear as would be expected an antique item that is late 1800s in age - some light use marks here or there. See photos for detail. Some very small markings and extremely small chips to the black/carved side of the pendant. See photos and videos. Chain is new and in great condition. Beautiful antique pendant!

Locket is unmarked but tested as 10K (we are assuming gold filled) but has been tested with a GemOro AuRacle AGT1 Plus Electronic Gold and Platinum Tester.
The gold filled chain is stamped 1/20 14K GF the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
