Description:
Shiny 10K gold filled locket by Bliss Brothers. This round vintage locket features an etched geometric and floral design on the front, the back is plain with no design.
Inside the locket is empty. The original photo frames remain as well as the plastic covers.
This vintage pendant hangs from a new 22" long 14K gold filled curb chain. The locket can be purchased with or without the chain.

Condition:
The locket is in nice vintage condition with wear as would be expected an item that is circa early 1900s (100 years old!) - see photos for detail. Some light use marks here or there. Some wear, like on the back where there is no design. Chain is new and in great condition.
Markings:
Locket is hallmarked with a capital B and lower case B and Co inside (Bliss Bros) 1/20 10K on the inside of the locket.
The gold filled chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.
NOTE: The maker's mark on this locket is for Bliss Brothers Co. of Attleboro, Massachusetts. According to Kovels, the company opened in 1873 as Bliss Brothers & Everett. It was founded by Charles Edwin Bliss, Everett Bradford Bliss, and R.L.F. Everett. According to an 1883 history of the county, Bliss Brothers & Everett “made a general variety of ladies’ and gents’ gold-plated goods.” The company became Bliss Brothers Co. sometime after 1887. Compacts, pill boxes, and other small items, including gold-filled and sterling jewelry, were made.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
