Lovely vintage locket with some bling! This round, gold filled rocket has a rhinestone bow on the front and the monogram letters A.S. in an Old English Font on the back. Note the monogram on the back is on a diagonal (see photos and video).
The inside is empty and ready for your photos. There was one original frame remaining that was hallmarked for W&SB but it was badly bent and removed.
NOTES:
This locket, which is circa late 1800 or early 1900s, is hallmarked for the W. & S. Blackinton Co. of Meriden, CT that was in business beginning in the late 19th century.
We have attached this locket to a new, 14K gold filled chain that is 20'' in length. The locket can be purchased with or without the new chain. You can select your preference at checkout.

Condition:
In nice antique condition with wear as would be expected an antique item that is circa early 1900s - see photos for detail. Some light use marks, etc. here or there. Some rhinestones may have darker more than others over time - see photos and video for details. Chain is new and in great condition.
Markings:
The locket was hallmarked inside one of the frames (that no longer remains, it was in bad condition and removed) with W&SB with a star.
The chain is marked 1/20 14K on the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
