Lovely vintage 12K Gold Filled Winard ornate brooch bar pin that features a raised center round, ornate end pieces and a hanging drop of an oval Adventurine bead. See NOTES below about the stone and the Winard Jewelry Company.
This retro brooch pin has a safety clasp closure dating. it to after the 1930s.
NOTE:
Aventurine glass, also called Goldstone, is a polished glittering glass that is often carved into cabochons, beads, and other objects. It is made artificially, and is colored by copper oxide.
The Winard Jewelry Company was well known for their gold filled jewelry sales in fine jewelry stores in the 1940s and 50s. The Winard Company closed in the late 1950s.
Measurements:
1 1/2" long with the drop bead.
The bar section is 1 1/2” long.
Condition:
In nice vintage condition with light wear as would be expected a jewelry item that is circa 1940 to 1950s - see photos for detail.
Markings:
The brooch is hallmarked 12K GF WINARD on the back center round.

Our packaging is done with care and creativity. Every item from our shop is wrapped with great care and looks beautiful in our signature boxes and wrapping.
We do offer gift wrapping for a special occasion or for holidays. Just let us know what occasion your gift is for and if you have a special message you would like us to include.
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
