Description:
A sweet little 12K gold filled heart locket necklace along with the paperwork describing the gold filled locket inside the original box. This locket is for a young girl as the chain is 14" long. I have 2 available.
The small heart shaped locket features a central heart on a textured background and it hangs on a fine gold filled oval link chain. The back side of the locket pendant is plain with no decoration. The locket opens from the bottom with its hinge on the top.
The chain length is a child’s size and for a young girl - ages 5 to 13 years (approximately).
The locket comes in the original box with its paperwork and is late mid century in age. It appears to never have been worn.
The locket was made by the Abel Bros. & Company - see NOTE below, and are from the mid century. The box is marked and states it is 12K gold filled.

Pendant: 1/2” long x 1/2” wide
Condition:
In good vintage condition in the original box. It would seem this pendant and bracelet were never worn as all the original packaging is intact. The box itself has some light wear consistent with vintage age - corca 1950.
Markings:
MA 1/20 12K GF inside locket and on the spring ring clasp.
NOTE:
Miss America pieces were made by the Abel Bros. & Co. that was located in New York, NY. The company produced many brands such as “Miss America” until approximately 1950.

Our packaging is done with care and creativity. Every item from our shop is wrapped with great care and looks beautiful in our signature boxes and wrapping.
We do offer gift wrapping for a special occasion or for holidays. Just let us know what occasion your gift is for and if you have a special message you would like us to include.
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
