Description:
An etched flowery heart shaped 12K gold filled locket on a new 18" long 14K gold filled cable link chain. This locket is hallmarked for the Bedford Company. (See NOTE below about this company.) The etched flower designs on the front are 2 pink colored blooms along with some leafy accents that fill up the locket front. The back is plain with no design. The locket had beveled edges on both the front and the back. The locket closes securely. It is circa mid century in age.
The interior of the locket has 2 wells with room for 2 heart shaped photos. One well has the backing, plastic cover and frame still intact while the other is empty.
NOTE: This hallmark on the locket stands for the Bedby Jewelry Products Corp. that operated out of New York, NY starting in 1943.
The 12K gold filled locket hangs on a 14K gold filled cable link chain. The locket’s bale is a round loop. The clasp on the chain closes securely.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with some wear/scratching and light patina on both sides commensurate with age - circa mid century or earlier. The chain is in good condition as it is new. See photos for details.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
