Description:
Beautiful (and large!) 12K gold filled vintage locket in a heart shape. The front of the locket has an etched floral and leaf design. The back has a pinstripe pattern.
Inside the locket has one of the original frames and plastic insert still intact - the frame is slightly misshapen. There are room for two heart shaped photos.
The vintage locket is attached to a new 14K gold filled rope chain that is 20'' in length. The locket can be purchased with or without the chain.
Absolutely gorgeous (and unique!) piece of romantic photograph jewelry.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition for its age (circa 1930s). Some light use marks here and there and some wear is commensurate with mid century age. The inside has some tarnishing, some portions of the inside frame are bent. See photos and video for details. The chain is new and in great condition. Overall absolutely lovely vintage piece of jewelry.

Locket is marked STURDY 1/20 12K on the attached bail.
Chain is marked 1/20 14K on the spring ring clasp.
The hallmark "STURDY" on a locket indicates it was made by J.F. Sturdy's Sons Co., an American jewelry manufacturer that specialized in gold filled jewelry. The company was founded by John F. Sturdy in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, in 1865.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
