Description:
Lovely gold filled square fob locket made by Carter, Qvarnstrom & Remington that features an etched curled geometric design in the center front and an etched tiered back. There is an ornate openwork frame on the top that extends and connects to the oval locket and has the bale loop at its center top.
In the etched top design of this oval locket front features vertical lines at the top and below the etched flower and leaves with a banner shape under the central flower. The back is plain but has an etched tiered border.
NOTE: The locket is marked C & QR in one well frame which is the hallmark for Carter, Qvarnstrom & Remington, a jewelry company in business in Attleboro, Massachusetts from 1899-1930.
The top of this antique fob locket has an ornate curled bale loop that winds down around the two sides of this little locket pendant.
Inside the locket are two square compartments for photos. The frames and plastic covers are both still intact. One well has the CQ&R hallmark on it.
The hinge on this fob locket is on the side, and the locket opens from the other side using a little tab at the top to pull it open.
The antique locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled curb chain that is 18” in length. The spring ring closure opens and closes securely.

Condition:
The fob locket is in nice antique condition with wear as would be expected an antique item that is early 1900s in age. The chain is in new and is in good condition. See photos for detail.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
