Description:
A vintage 12K Gold Filled round locket hallmarked for the WE HAYWARD Company. Beautiful pink gold flowers etched with green and yellow gold designs etched on the front. The back of the locket has a pinstripe pattern, typical of Hayward lockets. The locket is circa 1930s. There is some wear to the front of the locket - see photos for details.
There are two frames, foil backings and plastic covers still intact. Under one of the frames is the Hayward Company hallmark - it says 1/20-12K GOLDFILLED HAYWARD. The Walter E. Hayward Company operated out of Attleboro, MA from approximately 1922 to 1950.
The locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled rope chain that is 20'' in length. The locket can be purchased with or without the chain.

Condition:
In fair to nice vintage condition with wear as would be expected a vintage item that is circa 1930s/1940s (early mid century). Some discoloration/wear to the front of the locket, around the etched design - see photos. Price reflects condition. Locket opens and closes securely. Chain is new and in great condition. Looks ever so lovely and ready for your photos!

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
