A lovely vintage rose gold filled heart shaped locket on a 14K rose gold filled chain. This classic necklace features an etched design that is made up of a central V shaped cartouche with etched flowers on either side at the bottom. The back side of this locket features etched vertical lines.
There are two heart shaped compartments inside. One of the wells has the paper backing, plastic cover and the frame intact. The other is empty. The locket closes securely with a snap. The locket hinge is on the left and it opens on the right side.
The locket hangs from a new 18” long fine link 14K rose gold filled chain with a spring ring clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.
A wonderful piece of vintage sweetheart jewelry that is circa early to mid 1900s.

Condition:
In fair to nice antique condition with wear commensurate with age - circa mid 1900s. More wear / scratching on the back (the side with the etched lines) than the front. On the very bottom of the heart shape, there is a small ding that can be seen upon close inspection. Item's price reflects conditions. See photos for detail.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
