Description:
Beautiful, large and shiny antique gold filled locket. This round locket necklace is hallmarked for the FHS Company on the inner photo compartment. This company was in operation from 1890 to 1910.
The large Art Nouveau Era locket features a shield shape in the very center that has a plain shiny finish with ornate designs and pinstripes all around it. All of these small embellishments add some very intricate texture to the front of this early 1900s era locket.
The back is plain with no design with a shiny finish. There are 2 compartments for photos inside this locket. Both of the frames are intact as well as one of the plastic covers. The locket closes securely.
The antique locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled heavy curb chain that is 22'' in length. This is a longer, matinee length. The locket can be purchased with or without the chain.

Condition:
Gold filled locket necklace is in very nice vintage condition with light wear commensurate with vintage age. The back of the locket has some light use marks that are more visible as it is plain with no design. The chain is new and is in very nice condition. See photos and video for details. Locket is circa early 1900s.
Markings:
Inside the locket is hallmarked FHS CO PAT and the paper inside the frames is marked The F.H.S. Co. ABSOLUTELY SOLDERLESS - PAT GUAR - 12 K-G.F.
Chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
