Description: Vintage cameo brooch or necklace - this piece of jewelry can be either! Wear it as a pin or brooch or add a chain to make it a necklace. This mid century piece is 14K yellow gold filled and made by AMCO. It features a white (milk glass?) background with a woman's silhouette in black on the front. This piece is unique as it's got such contrast - black and white.
The edges feature a gold filled filigree pattern. We have attached this cameo to a new 20'' 14K gold filled chain. The pendant/pin can be purchased with or without the necklace.

The AMCO Jewelry Company operated from Providence, RI from approximately 1919 to 1970.

Condition:
This piece is in nice vintage condition with wear and patina commensurate with mid century age. Some light wear to the back of the pendant/pin. See photos for detail. Pin portion works well. Chain is new and in great condition.

Chain is marked 1/20 14K on the spring ring clasp.
The pendant is marked AMCO 14K GF on the back.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
