Description:
A vintage octagonal cameo locket on a 14K gold filled chain. The large sized locket with 8 sides features a prong set oval light pink and off-white oval shaped cameo in the center. There is an ornate geometric design in a raised ring around the cameo. There are some tiny depressed flower and leaf shapes inside the shapes that go all around the outer edges of the central cameo as well. These tiny depressions are filled with dark enamel. The cameo is a light pink with a white bust of a woman's profile. It is prong set on the locket front. The locket is circa mid to early mid century. The back side of the locket is plain with no design.
The locket holds 2 photos on the inside. There is one octagonal frame still inside. The locket is hinged on the bottom and opens on the top with a small fold over piece. The locket closes securely.
This lovely pendant locket, that is most likely jeweler’s brass, hangs from a new and sturdy 14K gold filled curb link chain that is 22” long.
The spring ring clasp on the new 14K gold filled curb chain opens and closes securely.

Condition:
The cameo locket necklace is in nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age - circa mid century. Some of the enamel in the tiny designs on the front shows wear. The back has more wear/scratching than the front as it is plain with no design. Some visible solder that can be seen upon close inspection. The chain is in good condition as it is new. While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
