A religious pendant cross necklace with intricate etched designs on the front. The back is plain with no design.
The cross pendant is attached to a vintage gold filled chain that is 16'' in length. It is a nice length for an adult or young lady. The gold filled chain's fold-over filigree clasp opens and closes securely. This type of clasp is very pretty and orange, and common in vintage jewelry.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with very light wear as would be expected by a piece that is mid century (circa 1940s). some light use marks/scratching on the back as it is plain with no design. Chain clasp opens and closes securely. See photos for details.
Markings:
The cross is marked on the back 1/20-12K GOLD FILLED H.F.B. which is the hallmark for the H.F. Barrows Company.
Chain is marked 1/20 12KT GF on the fold-over filigree clasp.
The hallmark on this cross is for the H.F. Barrows Company of N. Attleboro, MA. The company operated from about 1915 to the 1940s.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
