Description:
An antique etched large oval shaped gold filled locket. Beautiful locket necklace featuring a swirling etched floral design on the front. The back is plain with a shiny finish and the cursive monogram "LVA" engraved.
This locket, which is circa early 1900s, has some light use marks here or there, some wear to the gold and a small dent on the back - see photos and videos for details.
This antique locket holds two photo compartments inside. Neither frames are intact and there is some wear to the inside of the locket. Two oval shaped photos can be added.
The Edwardian locket hangs beautifully from a vintage gold filled rope chain - approximately 20” long. The locket closes securely. The spring ring clasp on the chain opens and closes securely as well.

Condition:
This gold filled locket necklace is in fair to nice antique condition with wear commensurate with antique age including scratching, as well as some patina on the inside and a small indentation on the lower back. See photos and video for details. The vintage chain is in fair to nice vintage condition, clasp works well.
Hallmarks;
No markings on the locket.
Chain is marked HAMILTON on a link near the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
