Description:
Vintage 12K Gold Filled locket in an oval shape with a scalloped openwork frame all around it. The frame twists around the oval and has a bit of decorative designs soon it. The locket front features a raised flower that has slightly tinted green leaves and a tinted pink bloom. The locket opens in a unique way - from the back like a small door using a small raised piece that you pull open. The back has a textured pattern etched on it.
The 12K gold filled locket hangs on a vintage 14K gold filled crinkle chain that is 20” long. The chain is meant to look crinkled - please see photos for details.
The locket is hallmarked for the Providence Stock Company inside.
NOTE:
This unusually shaped 12K gold filled locket was made by the Providence Stock company of Providence, RI. The company operated from about 1915 to 1950.
The locket's hinge is on the back right and it opens from the left from a hinge on the oval shape "door" of the locket. It closes securely. Inside are 2 oval shaped photo wells each with a circa 1940s photo of a young woman inside.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with wear as would be expected an items of this age - ca early to mid century. There is some wear to the green and pink overlay on the flower on the front. There is wear to the gold fill on the back - see photos for detail. Item's price reflects condition.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
