Description:
A gorgeous and unique vintage 10K gold filled rectangular shaped locket with an ornately decorated front and back. The locket bail is ornate with additional raised designs. Beautiful and ornate vintage locket circa 1930s/1940s.
The interior of the locket holds two oval shaped photos. One side has the original frames, plastic covers and paper backings.
The vintage 10K gold filled locket hangs from a new 14K GF rope chain which is 20'' in length and secures with a spring clasp. The locket can be purchased with or without the chain.
Beautiful piece of romantic retro jewelry.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with some use marks here and there and some - commensurate with vintage age - circa 1940s or earlier. The inside rectangle on the back has some light gold loss on the top. See photos for detail. Chain is new and in great condition, the clasp works well.
Marked:
Locket is marked 1/20 10K GF LS CO on the decorative bail.
Chain is marked 1/20 14K on the spring ring clasp.
NOTE: The hallmark LS CO stands for the Louis Stern Company of Providence, RI. The company was in business from 1871 until approximately 1950.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
