Description:
A Victorian 9K or 10K yellow gold ring by Arnold & Steele that is late 1800s (approx. 1880s or so) in age. This antique ring has a clover or shamrock leaf design on the front. The inside is engraved with the monogram "M.J.E." in cursive lettering and four dots in a diamond shape (the hallmark for Arnold & Steele).
Arnold & Steere was founded in 1866 in Providence, Rhode Island. They manufactured solid gold rings.

Condition:
The antique ring is in nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age - circa late 1800s. There is some wear to the piece as would be expected for a ring over 140 years old!
Markings:
The inside of the ring is marked with the monogram "M.J.E" in cursive lettering as well as four dots in a diamond shape (the hallmark for Arnold & Steele).
This ring tested as between 9K or 10K using a GemOro Auricle AGT1 Plus Electronic Gold and Platinum Tester.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
