Lovely round vintage gold filled locket on a long vintage chain. This larger sized 12K locket features a floral and pinstripe whimsical design on the front. The back is plain with no design.
There are 2 round compartments for photos inside this locket. The original frames and blue paper backings are intact.
The hinge for this locket is on the bottom and it opens from the top. The locket closes securely.
The locket hangs on a 24'' long (matinee length) 12K gold filled vintage rope chain that has a spring ring clasp. The chain’s spring ring clasp opens and closes securely.

Chain - length is 24"
Pendant - 1 1/4” long when including the attached bail loop and it is 1 1/8" in diameter.

Condition:
This locket necklace is in nice vintage condition for its age (circa early mid century). Some light use marks here or there. The locket opens and closes securely. The inside has some light patina. Chain is also in nice vintage condition for age. See photos and video for details.

Chain is marked 1/20 12K GF on the clasp.
Locket is marked DANECRAFT 12K G.F. This hallmark dates the locket to approximately 1940-1950s.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
