Description:
Lovely antique fob locket in a square shape that hangs as a diamond shape as the bale loop is at one corner. The rose gold filled pendant has an etched front and a plain back with no design. The etched front features an ornate design of lines and swirls.
The form fob locket is circa early 1900s in age. It hangs on a new 14K rose gold filled fine link cable chain.
The back of this antique locket is plain with no design. The edges of this locket have some tiny decorative etched vertical ridges on them.
Inside the locket are two rounded square compartments with wells for two photos. Currently one of the wells has the backing and the frame. The other well is empty.
The hinge on this form locket is on the bottom left, and the locket opens from the top right. It is a form locket and as such, the top simply fits onto the bottom snugly.
The antique locket hangs from a new and very fine link 14K rose gold filled chain that is 18” in length. The spring ring closure opens and closes securely. The bale is a plain round loop.

Condition:
In fair to nice antique condition with some scratching, patina, and wear as would be expected an antique item that is late 1800s to early 1900s in age. The edges of the locket front and back panels have areas where the gold plate has worn away to expose the base metal. The interior wells have darkened over time. See photos for detail.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
