Description:
Lovely etched gold filled square fob locket that is two-toned. It features a 4 sided shape that hangs on a corner making it a diamond shape when hanging on its new 14K gold filled chain. The front of the locket made by the Bliss Brothers Company features a center section that is a silver color while the rest of the etched front has a yellow gold color.
On the top of this locket is a wonderful ornate frame bale that extends onto the two sides at the top of this early 1900s locket. Inside the locket are two photo wells. One is empty and the other has the frame and plastic cover intact.
The back of this square shaped locket is plain with no design. NOTE: There is wear to the gold fill on the back where the base metal is exposed.
This fob locket was made by the Bliss Brothers Company of Attleboro, MA. They were in business from the late 1800s to circa 1943.
Inside the locket are two square compartments for photos. One of the original frames is still intact. The locket is hinged on the bottom left and opens from the top right using a very, very small tab that is on the top.
The antique photo locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled Rolo link chain that is 18" in length. The spring ring closure on the chain opens and closes securely.
Measurements:
Locket - 1” long with the bail and 1" without the bale. The locket is 1" wide.

Condition:
In fair to nice antique condition with wear as would be expected an antique item that is early 1900s. Wear and some pitting on the back where the base metal is exposed. See photos for detail.

Locket - B and CO inside a larger B on one inner well.
The gold filled chain is stamped 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
