Beautiful piece of statement jewelry - vintage (probably antique, circa 1920s) Binder Brothers locket and unique choker necklace, also by Binder Brothers.
The locket is a large, round gold filled locket with an etched floral design on the front, decorated with enamel.
The 16'' choker length necklace is an amazing addition to the locket - it is also a gold filled and created by Binder Brothers, but it also has niello detailing on each of the necklace links. When you look closely at the triple link role chain, each link has a stripe/line pattern. See photos for details. Such a unique piece of jewelry and a great complement to the large gold locket! The chain is rather lightweight when worn.
The chain is short - 16'' which is choker style length. It is marked as 12K gold filled. The necklace has a spring ring clasp that opens and closes securely.

Condition:
This necklace is in fair to nice antique condition with light wear commensurate age (circa 1920s). Some scratches and loss to enamel in locket front. See photos for details. Locket opens and closes securely. Spring ring clasp works well.
Markings:
Locket: 1/20 with the Binder Brothers insignia on the back of the locket (Letter B inside two overlapping circles).
Chain: 1/20 12K GF on spring ring clasp, 12K 1/20 with the Binder Brothers (Letter B inside two overlapping circles) on the jump ring.
NOTE: The maker's mark on this chain is for Binder Bros. Inc. which began operating around 1922 in New York City.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
