Beautiful and large Ronald J. Wyancko vintage oval locket, hand engraved with a whimsical swirling flower and leaf design, crowned with a fancy filigree top. The front has a flower on the bottom with fanciful leaves swirling across the front along with some swirling background designs. The sterling silver pendant opens and holds two oval areas for photos. The design is on the front of the locket. The back is plain.
There are two frames inside for photos - the original blue backing and plastic are still inside this eye-catching vintage locket. The locket hangs from a new 20" Sterling Silver rope chain.
This hand tooled sterling silver locket is hallmarked on the back with the stamp for WJR for Ronald J. Wyancko. Wyancko is an American (Virginia) based silversmith whose work has been featured in museums and around the globe. His work dates back to the mid 1960s (and into the 2000's).
The locket is hinged on the right side, opens from the left side and closes with a snap.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age. Some use marks/light scratches on the back that are more visible as it is plain with no design. Locket closes securely with a snap. The locket has been lightly polished. The chain is new and in great condition.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
