Description:
Beautiful large, round and gold filled - this locket is a vintage treasure. The front has a swirling whimsical look with flowers almost hidden in the design The back in monogrammed with the cursive letters "LET" (from left to right), the middle E is slightly larger than the other letters (could be ready ELT if preferred). If you love this locket but your initials are not LET, it could also remind you to "Let it be", "Let it go", "Let go, let God", etc.
The locket is circa early 1900s in age and hallmarked inside JFSS Co.
Note: This JFSS hallmark stands for the JF STURDY'S SONS CO., a company that was in business in Attleboro Falls, MA from 1896 to about 1950.
The bale on this locket is a plain loop. It opens and closes securely. Inside this antique gold filled locket the original frames, photo covers and paper backings are intact. There are spaces for two round shaped photos.
This antique locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled curb chain that is 20'' in length. It is empty and ready for your pictures. The spring ring clasp on the chain closes securely.
The locket is also available for purchase without a chain attached. The 20'' chain is shown in the photos.

Condition:
In nice antique condition with wear as would be expected an item that is early 1900s in age. Some light use marks here or there, some patina on the inside of the locket. See photos for detail. The necklace chain is new and in great condition.
Markings:
The locket is unmarked but has been tests as gold filled. Tested with a Niton DXL X-Ray Analyzer.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
