Lovely antique round gold filled photo locket on an 20" long 14K gold filled rope chain. The locket is circa early 1900s. The locket front and back are plain with no design and feature a shiny finish on both sides. This type of locket was often engraved with someone’s initials on one side, but this one has no markings or engraving on either side. The hinge is on the bottom and it opens from the top. The locket closes securely.
This locket has 2 wells inside for photos. There are no frames remaining and there is quite a bit of discoloration inside the locket (see photos - price reflects condition). The inside also has hand carved initials inside. These would be covered by photos placed inside. The bale is a plain round loop.
This antique round locket hangs from a new 20” long 14K gold filled rope chain. The lobster clasp on the chain closes securely.

Condition:
The locket is in nice antique condition with wear on both sides as would be expected an antique item that is circa early 1900s. There are some light use marks/ small indentations on the front and back of this antique piece - see photos for detail. The front and back have limited wear to the gold fill but the inside of the locket is very discolored. It also has hand carved initials inside. See photos for details. The chain is new and in great condition.

Locket is not marked but tests as gold filled.
The chain is marked 14K GF on the lobster clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
