Description:
A vintage cameo converter pendant and brooch pin with an ornate and gold filled frame done in a fine openwork all around it. This heart shaped cameo pendant and/or brooch hangs on a 14K GF rope chain that is 22” long. It is a converter pendant and brooch that can be worn as a pendant or as a pin.
The pink and white resin cameo is an image of a lovely lady with wavy hair who is wearing a teardrop shaped earring and her hair in an updo. She is looking to the right side of the pin/pendant.
On the back of the piece, in the center, is a hinged bale loop connector for the chain when it is worn as a necklace pendant. Across the back center in is a pin with a safety closure.
The lobster clasp on the 14K gold filled rope chain opens and closes securely.

Condition:
This cameo pendant/brooch is in good vintage condition with wear and light patina commensurate with vintage age (circa 1940s). The cameo is secure and in nice vintage condition. The new chain is in excellent condition.
Markings:
The pendant is marked CM 1/20 12K Gold Filled on the inside in the back.
The chain is marked 14k GF on the lobster clasp.
CM stands for Curtman Co Inc or Curtis Creations who did business in Providence Rhode Island in the 1940s and 1950s.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
