An antique mourning pendant with a decorative frame with two old photos encased / sealed inside. The pendant hangs on a new 14K gold filled curb chain.
This pendant is two sided with two different old sepia toned photos: one encased on each side. One side has the photo of a woman with her hair up and wearing a cameo brooch, and on the other side is a photo of a dark haired man in a suit. Both photos are circa the late 1800s to early 1900s. The photos are sealed with prong settings inside the gold tone metal frames. The frames have a raised decorative twisted rope design around the gold tone metal casing. The photos have hard clear material (most likely an early form of plastic such as celluloid) covering over them.
The round gold tone metal pendant hangs on a new 14K gold filled curb chain with a spring ring clasp.

Condition:
The pendant is in fair to nice antique condition. The side with the woman’s photo is in nice shape with some slight discoloration. The side with the man’s photo is in fair condition as it has some cracks in the clear cover material and discoloration. Some patina on the gold tone metal mourning pendant itself commensurate with antique age. See photos for detail. Price reflects condition.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
