Description:
Beautiful vintage locket, the front has a black background, there is a raised gold flower on the front with seed pearls adorning it. There are 10 seed pearls in total. The back also has a black background with no design. I believe this locket to be circa 1940s.
There is light wear to the black enamel on both the front and the back as shown in photos. See front close up photo with two small areas of missing black areas on front of locket.
Inside the locket has space for two oval shaped photos. There is one remaining frame that has the Binder Bros. hallmark.
Locket closes securely as does the 14K GF yellow gold chain. The vintage locket is attached to a new 22'' long 14K gold filled rope chain.
NOTE: The maker's mark on this chain is for Binder Bros. Inc. which began operating around 1922 in New York City.

Locket - 1 1/4" long with the smaller (attached) bale loop x 1" wide. 1 7/8'' long with long bail.

Condition:
The locket is in nice antique condition with wear commensurate with age - circa 1940s. Some wear to the front and back of locket. Two very small areas on the front with missing enamel - see close up photo for details. The chain is new and in great condition and the clasp opens and closes as intended. See photos for details.
Marked:
The locket is marked 12/20 B B (each B inside an overlapping circle - Binder Bros. Mark)
The chain is marked 14K GF on the lobster clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
