Description:
A very sweet vintage 12K yellow gold-filled, oval etched locket on a 12K yellow gold chain made by the B. A. Ballou Company of Providence, RI. The Ballou Jewelry Company was established in 1869 and was in business until the early 2000s.
This lovely necklace features an etched flower with a stem and surrounding leaves on the front. On the back, the locket is plain with no design and has a shiny finish. The top has a fanned decorative bail. There is a 12K GF and maker’s mark of a B in a star on the locket.
The Retro locket hangs from a vintage 24” long 12K yellow gold chain. The locket hinge is on the left and it opens on the right side. The locket closes securely.
There are two oval shaped compartments inside. The spring ring clasp on the 12K gold-filled chain opens closes securely.
Note: There is some old glue remaining on the inside, specifically the right side. The glue is green and still remains. See photo.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
