Description:
Lovely heart shaped (and large) gold filled photo locket circa 1940-1950s. This beautiful locket has an etched rectangle in the middle surrounded by vertical pinstripes and two lines of etched leaves. The back is plain with no design and has a shiny finish.
Inside the locket are two heart shaped compartments for photos with both of the plastic covers and the frames still intact - as well as the original photos! There are old black and white photos included - one side has a man and the other has the same man with a young woman who has a big smile on her face. Awesome piece of history!
The locket closes securely. The hinge is on the right and the locket opens from the left.
The vintage photo locket hangs from a vintage gold filled rope chain by Simmons that is 20” in length. The closure opens and closes securely.
Note: There is a small indent on the locket front, in the bottom middle of the rectangle. See close up photos and video for details. Not very noticeable but wanted to mention.

Condition:
The locket is nice vintage condition with some wear as would be expected an item that is circa 1940s or 1950s - see photos for detail. Some light use marks present on the back as there is no design. Some tarnishing inside the locket, could be further polished if so desired. There is a small indent on the locket front, in the bottom middle of the rectangle. See close up photos and video for details. Not very noticeable but wanted to mention. The vintage chain is in good condition.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
