See details - we like to refer to this type of locket as a "Timeworn Treasure" as it is very beautiful but has some wear from time.
Description:
Beautiful vintage locket, the front has a black background, it looks like it is more of a lacquered painted on black. The front has an etched flower basket with three blooms. The back is gold and shiny with no design.
There is a lot of is wear to the black enamel on the front as shown in photos. The back also has discoloration - mostly around the edges. See the photos for details.
Inside the locket has space for two oval shaped photos. There are no longer any frames.
Locket closes securely as does the 14K GF yellow gold chain. The locket is attached to a new 20'' long 14K gold filled rope chain. The locket can be purchased with or without the chain.

Locket - 1 1/4" long with the bale loop x 7/8" wide.

Condition:
The locket is in fair to nice antique condition with wear commensurate with age. Some wear to the front and back of locket. There is wear to the black enamel on the front as shown in photos. The back also has discoloration - mostly around the edges. See the photos for details. Price reflects condition. The chain is new and in great condition and the clasp opens and closes as intended.
Marked:
The locket is unmarked (hand etched roman numerals inside) but tests as gold filled.
The chain is marked 14K GF on the lobster clasp.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
