Description:
This large gold-filled locket is an amazing piece of vintage jewelry. The locket front has an etched design on the outside of the circle, the inside has a matte finish with a design that almost looks like it's been lightly scratched to create a textured design. The back is plain with a shiny finish.
The locket can fit two photos round inside, one on each side. There are currently no photos inside. The original frame and plastic cover are not intact. The bale is a decorative fanned bale.
This antique round locket hangs from a new 20” long 14K gold filled chain. The locket has its hinge on the left and opens from the right. The lobster clasp on the chain closes securely.

The locket is in very nice vintage condition with light wear on both sides as would be expected an antique item that is circa early 1900s- see photos for detail. Very light wear, some light use marks. See photos for details.
Markings:
The locket is unmarked but tested as gold filled.
The chain is marked 14K GF on the lobster clasp

Our packaging is done with care and creativity. Every item from our shop is wrapped with great care and looks beautiful in our signature boxes and wrapping.
We do offer gift wrapping for a special occasion or for holidays. Just let us know what occasion your gift is for and if you have a special message you would like us to include.
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
