Description:
Beautiful and large vintage sterling silver oval shaped locket. The front features a raised floral design with three large flowers present. The back of the locket is plain with no design but does show a large amount of wear. The inside can house two photos (one on each side).
The locket opens and closes securely. It hangs from a vintage Italian box chain necklace that measures 18'' long. The spring ring clasp opens and closes securely.

Condition:
In fair vintage condition. Clasps work well, some light patina is present on the locket is present but could be polished to really shine if so desired. The front of the locket is in very nice condition with limited wear. There is a large amount of wear present on the back of the locket. See photo for details. Price reflects condition.

Locket is marked WEH SS on the inside.
Chain is marked 925 ITALY
The Hayward stamped inside is for the Massachusetts based jeweler, Walter E. Hayward. They operated in Attleboro, Mass. and were popular c.1922, c.1934 c. 1943 and c.1950.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
